Celebrate the New Year in style with this 12-day itinerary, combining top-class sporting action with the Winelands of South Africa.
The sporting centrepiece is five days of test cricket at Newlands, as South Africa host England - and you'll be watching from an exclusive pavilion suite, with hospitality included throughout. During the tour, you'll be joined by Nick Hoult, the Telegraph's Chief Cricket Correspondent - who will also host an evening of conversation at your hotel, discussing the day's action and regaling cricket stories from times gone by.
Away from the cricket, you can look forward to a private luxury catamaran cruise along Cape Town's glittering coastline, with drinks and canapés served as the sun sets and a full-day tour of the Winelands, with opportunities to sample the region's famous wines - from the award-winning La Motte Wine Estate to the Blaauwklippen Vineyards.

Depart London Heathrow on your direct overnight flight to Cape Town. Upon arrival, meet your tour manager and transfer to the Winchester Boutique Hotel for your nine-night stay. After checking-in, spend the afternoon at your leisure.
This evening, there will be the opportunity to join the hotel's New Year's Eve party, followed by a glass of champagne as you watch the fireworks that signify the start of 2027 in Cape Town (not included, at a supplement).
After breakfast, spend the day at your leisure before a private catamaran cruise this evening. Board the Enigma, a state-of-the-art powered catamaran, as you head out from the harbour, cruise around the coast to some of the city's exclusive beaches. Enjoy the spectacular scenery from the catamaran's twin decks and shaded seating areas. There is also a saloon area, bar and toilets on board. Drinks and canapes will be served during the cruise.
After breakfast, depart on a tour of the stunning Winelands.
Your first stop will be a wine tasting at La Motte Wine Estate.
Founded in 1695 and located just outside the village of
Franschhoek, La Motte is an award-winning winery. The wine tasting
will be enjoyed while relaxing outside, overlooking the beautiful
gardens. A comprehensive selection of La Motte's award-winning
wines will be presented, from the popular La Motte Sauvignon Blanc,
Millennium and Vin de Joie Rosé, to the elegance of the Chardonnay,
Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah.
The next stop will be the charming French Huguenot village of
Franschhoek, where you'll visit the Huguenot Memorial Museum &
Huguenot Monument, and to browse the shops and boutiques which line
the main street of this picturesque settlement.
Travel onwards towards the Blaauwklippen Vineyards, one of the
Western Cape's oldest and most respected wine farms. Rich in
history and traditional Cape charm, the picturesque lawns in front
of the 18th Century Manor House at Blaauwklippen provide a stunning
setting. During a cellar tour, learn about the estate's long
standing history and traditions before a wine tasting is enjoyed in
the Tasting Room. A gourmet lunch will then be served, with the
magnificent views only adding to the experience, before returning
to Cape Town.
After breakfast, transfer to the beautiful Newlands Cricket Ground for each day's play. You'll be watching from one of the exclusive Pavilion Suites. Welcome drinks and snacks, lunch and afternoon tea, as well as a complimentary bar throughout the day are included. After the day's play ends the group will be transferred back to the hotel.
On one of the evenings, there will be an exclusive private event with drinks at the Winchester Boutique Hotel. You'll be joined by special guest, Nick Hoult who will give a talk, discussing the day's play, sharing some favourite cricketing anecdotes, and answering your questions in a Q&A.
After breakfast, spend the day at your leisure. Perhaps, you'll board the ferry across to iconic Robben Island, take the cableway up to Table Mountain, or enjoy a helicopter flip over the city.
After breakfast, the day is free to enjoy some last-minute shopping or sightseeing before you transfer to Cape Town airport for your direct overnight flight to London Heathrow. Arrive back early morning.
