Your journey begins in York as you board the luxurious Northern Belle. Take your seat in one of the restored 1930s carriages and relax with a Mimosa and three-course brunch as you watch the Scottish countryside pass you by.
You'll be joined by Dickie Arbiter LVO, the best known of all the former Royal Press Secretaries, who will share insights of working with Queen Elizabeth and his knowledge of the Royal Yacht Britannia.
On arrival in Edinburgh, transfer to the yacht for a tour. Berthed in Leith, the Royal Yacht Britannia is now a museum and you'll explore the five decks, while learning more about the history of the ship. After your tour, there will be free time to explore the city.
Rejoin the Northern Belle for the leisurely journey back to York. Relax once more in your stunning carriage, sip Champagne and dine upon a sumptuous six-course dinner.

You'll meet the group in York this morning, where you'll be greeted with a red carpet welcome and ushered on board the Northern Belle by liveried stewards.
Once in your plush seat, you'll enjoy a sparkling Mimosa as the train pulls out of the station into the countryside.
Dickie Arbiter LVO will be riding with you on the train, and will give an insightful talk about his illustrious career as King Charles and Queen Elizabeth's Press Secretary. He once had an office on the Royal Yacht Britannia, so is excited to step back aboard.
On arrival at Edinburgh you'll take a private transfer to Leith and have a tour of Royal Yacht Britannia's five spectacular decks.
After your visit, enjoy some free time to explore Edinburgh, perhaps heading to the Christmas markets on Prince's street.
You'll then board the train for the return journey to York, featuring an unforgettable six-course dinner.
