Enjoy a two-night stay and indulge in a tasting menu at Tudor Farmhouse in the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley

Escape to the Gloucestershire countryside for two nights with breakfast and dinner at a 13th-century farmhouse turned boutique hotel.

Tudor Farmhouse is found just where the Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley meet, and you'll be in the perfect spot to explore the ancient woodland by foot or bike. You'll be given a free food and drink trail map so you can visit some of the farmhouse's suppliers and local farm shops during your stay.

Upon arrival, you'll be treated to wonderfully fresh scones and a bottle of Prosecco in your room, setting the tone for an indulgent two-night break. Take some time to settle into your chic and inviting bedroom before heading down to explore the grounds.

A delicious dinner awaits in the hotel restaurant each evening, including a tasting menu on one night, allowing you to sample all that the farmhouse has to offer.

Food at the Tudor Farmhouse is taken very seriously. You'll discover homely yet inventive dishes made using the finest local ingredients sourced from suppliers within a 20 mile radius in Gloucestershire, Monmouthshire and Herefordshire.

The 20 stylish guest rooms all have their own character, with unique design features. You'll find exposed stonework and rustic beams along with modern touches like Nespresso coffee machines and widescreen TVs and many rooms feature roll-top baths and monsoon showers.

Whichever room you choose, you're sure to have a perfectly cosy night, with pocket sprung mattresses, duck feather pillows and duvets and 300 count linen sheets on the beds.

Food & Drink

Try the Marmalade Mule cocktail - like a Moscow Mule but with gorgeous local Chase Marmalade Vodka, lime juice, bitters and ginger beer. We loved the afternoon tea for the savoury-toothed - sandwiches, wild sausage roll, cheese and onion foggy, cheese scone and a brownie. Yum!
